Tip: To make the white ruffle, I cut a strip of white streamer with scalloped scissors. Then I sewed along the top edge and pulled it to ruffle it. Finally, I adhered it to the back of the panel of Buttercup paper.

Bird's Nest & Card by Jessica Witty

Supplies:

Clear MEDIUM GABLE Favor Boxes
Lemonade Favor Kit by Basic Grey
Lemonade Frosted Berry Paper by Basic Grey
Soft Pink Rhinestone Embellishments by Kaisercraft
Silver Rhinestone Embellishments by Kaisercraft
Hot pink Rhinestone Embellishments by Kaisercraft
Scotch Foam Mounting Tape
Tiny Brown Alpha Stickers
Kraft Cardstock
Green Gingham Ribbon
Baroque Stamp

Instructions:

1. Unfold gable box. Trim the gable flaps to make the edges straight. (The box will not actually close up any more.) Put box together.
2. Punch holes in flower die-cut (included in kit) and tie ribbon around box and through the flower. Add stickers to label die-cut (included in kit) and adhere to box using foam tape.
3. Put bird together, following the instructions that are included in the favor kit. Add rhinestones to the back "feathers." Fill bird with gift, treat, etc.
4. Fill box with shredded paper and place bird on top.

Card:
1. Make 3.5" x 5" card from berry paper.
2. Stamp panel of kraft paper and stitch to card.
3. Adhere die-cut (from kit) and fold over the side of the card. Add stickers.
4. Embellish with ribbon tab and button.

Instructions:

1. Trace chipboard circle onto Temperance paper, cut out, adhere to cover of notebook and sand edges.
2. Cut Decor Note Paper to fit across center of cover, adhere, sand edges and ink to distress.
3. Apply rub-ons to cover and adhere die-cut and rhinestones to embellish.
4. Cut a strip of pom pom trim to fit along top edge and adhere in place.
5. Tie a ribbon to the metal ring to finish.

Clouds Paper Edgers Scissors by Fiskars

Scotch Pop-Up Foam Circles

Instructions:

1. Create base of candy bar by using a decorative edge scissor to cut a piece of pattern paper to measure 7" x 8".
2. Cut a piece of green cardstock measuring 5.75" x 8"; attach to the base paper.
3. Cut a second piece of pattern paper to measure 5.5" x 8" using a decorative edge scissor.
4. Machine stitch along the edges of the green cardstock and the second piece of pattern paper.
5. Add pearls to scallops and wrap around the candy bar. Make sure to use lots of strong adhesive. The wrap is a little stiff due to the multiple layers of paper.
6. Tie lace around the candy bar.
7. Create tag using a scrap of pattern paper.
8. Attach a small strip of pattern paper to the bottom of the tag and cover the seam with ric rac; apply pearls to ric rac.
9. Cut butterfly from pattern paper. Don't have the right butterfly? Simply find an image on-line, re-size it to measure about 2" x 1.5" and print on the back of pattern paper; cut out.
10. Attach butterfly and friendship sticker using pop dots.
11. Apply buttons and rhinestones to finish off tag; attach tag to the lace bow.

Vintage Journal Bits Kraft Cardstock Stickers by Hambly Screen Prints
Scotch Pop-Up Foam Circles
Winsome Enchanting Chipboard Elements by Pink Paislee

Instructions:

1. Cut large circle shape from patterned paper; Adhere it to the bottom part of the die-cut paper.
2. Add strip of patterned paper along the top of circle shape.
3. Adhere photo to center of paper strip.
4. Sand chipboard letters; Adhere to spell "sleepy." (place the y on the other end of the photo)
5. Add chipboard branch to right side of photo.
6. Cut green circle shape from paper; Adhere to center using foam adhesive.
7. Add journaling to sticker; place in center of circle.
8. Punch circles from patterned paper; Adhere in corners.
9. Add chipboard to center of circles. (The chipboard pieces are the centers popped out of the letter e)
